Military Road

Military Road is the historic spine of Mosman — its main shopping street, its tram route, and the stage for the everyday life of the suburb. Shops, hotels and picture theatres lined the road as Mosman grew from a harbourside village into a thriving Sydney suburb.

For decades the trams rumbled along its length, and the street’s shopfronts and street life changed with each passing era while remaining the beating heart of the community.
